The Jerusalem Rainbow Group for Interreligious Study and Dialogue was founded in 1965 and has met regularly over the years. It consists of Jewish and Christian academics and religious leaders who gather monthly (November-June) to share theological and philosophical perspectives on topics relevant to religious life and to Jewish-Christian relations. Programs are arranged on the basis of an annual theme, and lectures are followed by discussion.

The Group meets at various Jewish and Christian locations throughout Jerusalem. Membership is by invitation of the Steering Committee, and the consistency of membership ensures a respectful and friendly relationship and an open and honest exchange of ideas.

A history of the group has been published. To order, go to

Committee 2015-6 (5776) – Chair – Dr Aart Brons, Vice-Chair – Rabbi Dr Eugene Korn, Secretary – Peta Jones Pellach.

Members are also encouraged to invite guests to our meetings.
